The 51mm portafilter standard

51mm is De'Longhi's proprietary portafilter size, used across the Dedica and La Specialista pump-espresso lines. It's close to — but not the same as — the 52mm La Pavoni lever format, and standard 58mm or 54mm Breville parts do not fit. De'Longhi machines take both single-wall (non-pressurized) and dual-wall (pressurized) baskets, and De'Longhi's own DLSC085 bottomless portafilter is made for this size.
